I learned about the Benson detox from instagram. I decided to do it as my health was not at its best and I was struggling with stomach issues and weight gain even though my eating and activity hadn’t changed. I also have very low iron and was tired of leaving doctor appointments with no answers.
I didn’t weigh myself as the scales are a mind game for me but feeling so much healthier! Clothes feel loser, I have stopped taking medication for reflux and haven’t had any bad stomach pains in a month.
My symptoms during my cycle are also way better, goodbye to painful breasts and excessive bloating.
Food habits are way better and no cravings for Coke Zero or coffee even though I mainly drank decaf. Sleep is fantastic and I feel a lot calmer. My family has also benefited from my change in grocery shopping, we ate relatively healthy anyway but with a new busy job some lazy habits had popped in.
My husband lost 5kg just by eating what I was prepping (or asking him to make for dinner/lunch.) Looking forward to doing another 28day reset, we have definitely gained some better habits around food and are cooking more from scratch instead of convenience due to being more aware of what is in the food we are eating.
