“After years of struggling with weight gain, inflammation, lethargy, 3pm slumps and skin issues, I decided I needed to do something to act as a circuit breaker for my food habits that I knew weren’t serving me. The more I learned about the effects of blood sugar, the more I realised I had to start to control my own.

I committed to a 10-day blood sugar reset. I used the ten days to develop some recipes that were anti-inflammatory and blood sugar regulating – but still full flavour. I loved that way of eating. I felt lighter, more energetic, clearer headed, happier and my skin cleared up too. I also lost nearly 5kg of body fat. It completely changed my understanding of my own body and showed me how important it is to understand and control our glucose levels. I knew if I felt this way, I could make others feel this way.

I knew people would love this way of eating and love the mental & physical benefits. I mobilised a team, I started a website, I created a suite of recipes, and the rest, as they say, is history.

What is the detox all about?

The 10-Day Blood Sugar Detox is a carefully designed program that aims to reset your body’s blood sugar levels by eliminating certain foods that may lead to spikes in blood sugar. It involves following specific food groups (and avoiding others) for ten days to promote stable blood sugar and overall well-being.

What does the detox entail?

The Detox focuses on whole, nutrient-dense foods while excluding foods high in refined sugars, processed carbohydrates, and potentially inflammatory things like gluten, dairy, caffeine & alcohol. Basically, eat the rainbow! We also recommend weaning off caffeine slowly before starting the detox to minimise withdrawal symptoms.

Do I really have to give up coffee?

Yes, you do – but trust us, once you get past the first three-ish days you will feel so much better for it. Caffeine can affect your ability to get to, and quality of sleep, so cutting out coffee will help in optimising your sleep to increase your energy, mood and focus for the next day. It’s only 10 days, you can do this!

Can I exercise during the detox?
